I m using VMware Standalone Converter 6.1, trying to convert CentOS physical machine on public IP using Windows Server on Public IP where Converter is installed destination infra in on vCenter 6 which is also on public ip, after 6 minutes and 3% of job following error occurred.On source linux machine hosts.allow is ALL:ALL and configured to use SSHv2. Any help will be appriciated.

This error occurs when the destination VM, running the converter helper service, can not SSH to the source machine. The destination machine is in a virtual network. Its (the virtual network) policy has to allow connection to the public IP of the source on port 22.

actually it is about configuring the VM network on which this VM is attached when created
In my case I start converter with PROXY mode to solve such issue!
So i have an issue that maybe can be answered here. I have always been told that when I do a P2V and I am not ready to turn off the physical system to not do a final sync. Some of the P2V's can take 3 hours or so to run thru the initial copy. So the process is. Preform a p2v and then schedule the final sync to happen during the outage window. Once the final sync is done, power off the physical and then power on the virtual and configure.
Now an employee who is always right does it this way. After the final sync, this person will wait 2 or 3 days before the outage window and then perform another final sync and say that the data that was added between the final sync and the next final sync is copied at this time.
This is completely against what I have known to be true. It was my understanding that when you do a final sync, all the bits about the data changing are removed along with the snapshots. So I guess my question is, does this procedure work. I didn't think that you could do a final sync and then do another final sync.

The final sync finishes the task (including shutdown of specific services) and you can't do more that one final sync. That's why it is "final".
Meanwhile you can do many incremental syncs to be sure that your destination VM is close to the running machine, and final sync will run for feasible time.

I am running Converter on Windows 7 ans trying to make a virtual machine of the current installation to upgrade to Windows 10.
Whenever I start to use the converter I get this error message "Unable to complete Converter agent installation on Dell-9020. Another version of this product is already installed.
I have looked around the machine and the only one I can find is the current installation.
Anyone any ideas. Thanks

Not sure what you mean about the.exe file. I did not mean to attach that!
Installation logs are placed in %tmp% folder, they are named vm*.log, check them for error, if you can not detect one - upload them to investigate.

These are the results from running the sc query items
vmware-converter-agent - this service is running
vstor2-mntapi30-shared - this service does not exist as an installed service
bmdvr - this service does not exist as an installed service
I have looked through the vm*.log files and there are a lot of Error : 0 entries and a few Incl NeedRebot Error :2 but nothing else.
Copies of the two log files are attached from TEMP directory
The vstor2 driver name is wrong, its vstor2-mntapi20-shared.
However, once the vmware-converter-agent is up and running - the other version is installed, deinstall and try again.

I have one Ubuntu 14.04 Server installed Physically on IBM server with Raid and all configured.
I have installed on ESXi host 6.0 for trial purposes and trying to do P2V migration testing using "VMware-converter-en-6.1.0-3410145" converter tool
I can start the converter successfully by putting server details and ESXi host details. but once converter start process it stucks at 1% and cant progress.
Yesterday, after few hours of process if gave me "ERROR:Cannot communicate with the remote host, either due to network errors or because the host is not"
can someone help me to complete my test successfully or reason why it is stuck at 1%.
