Yes - when running converter it will see the disks presented to the VMs OS independent of what type of drive they are - SAS, SATA IDE or SAN iSCSI and FC -

Thanks, Yes I was guessing the same way.  The source and destination are in two racks next to each other with GB Ethernet and FC connections.  This is also a live migration.

Did you consider using scheduled synchronization for the conversions? The downtime is expected to be only minutes. Besides you may program the SQL service to stop before the synchronization, not during...

Could you upload log bundle? Also check if your physical machine has access to choosen ESX at port 902. HTH

It´s a w2k8r2 with c: and d: as *.vmdk disk. The 3 other disks are iscsi disk connected to the server with windows iscsi initiator.When I run vmware converter I only see the c: and d: disks. My problem...
