Please check the forum, there are couple of issues with transfering AD with converter. The overall recommendation is to create AD from scratch and then sync the primary/destination AD.HTH

It should be OK.As far as Converter is concerned, if the conversion is completed, it is OK to revert the flag. As far as ESXi is concerned - I have not heard this to affect its or the VM's work.
