Hi,

I would like to share with you, because I spend time to reach my goal.

OS was Windows 2000 SP4 with TSE application enable on very old HP Proliant (and an other one with original White Compaq Proliant)

1/ install Converter 3.0 on a stand alone server (with enought disk space to store larges files)

2/ from standalone server , P2V (using converter 3.0 )your SRV2K to workstation file format, store it on a share folder

3/ from vCenter Converter standAlone (v5.x) V2V your workstation file format (access it from the shared folder) to new VM format on your VCenter

Often, after P2V, system can not boot, black screen with a blikng cursor

just boot on a 'PARTITION MAGIC' like sotware (I used Acronis Disk Director) a resize a little your system disk, juste reduce 1K the size to make it moving by the tool

in case you remove a primary partition used by your hardware vendor BIOS, edit your BOOT.INI file to correct your partition number from PART 2 to PART 1

don't ask me for NT4 or NT3.51, lol
