OK, once again:
You have a running CentOS machine and you want to convert it to a Workstation virtual machine, right?
You can't!
VMware Converter can't do that. At least not directly. Converter can convert a running Linux machine into a managed destination, i.e. to ESX, not to Workstation, Player, or Fusion. You might eventually convert to managed and then convert again the VM to hosted. That would be 2 conversions and you will still need an ESX.
That's the first limitation. There is another one - Converter does not support CentOS; which means it most probably won't reconfigure the destination VM.
