Hi JD,     I did give it the Windows 7 IP address along with my username and get the following:Do I need to be running anything on the Windows 7 PC other than the Converter? Thanks,     John C.

You should need to provide the ip address of vcenter or the host and not the ip address of windows 7

I not sure I get you. The Standalone vcenter is running on the Windows 7 PC along with the Ubuntu VM running in Parallels. There areonly two network IPs, the Ubuntu VM and Lan1 of the PC.

Yes and no. You need another software (ESXi) but you can use the free VMware vSphere Hypervisor which will even run as a virtual machine on VMware Workstation. André

How did you configure networking for the ESXi VM (Bridged)? You may also want to check whether  "Virtualize Intel VT-x/EPT or AMD-V/RVI" is checked for the ESXi VM's virtual processor.  André
