@ I saw that thread and I did try running the administrator account. I also tried disabling UAC, fixing permissions on temp (which wasn't an issue), turning off the VMware processes, and disabling AVS. Any other suggestions? The installer is deleting that file. This is a bug in the installer. Do you have any clues from the log file?
I'm trying to convert a hdd on a dead computer I was using as a server to a virtual machine so I could run it on a replacement. If that converter isn't going to do that will something else?
