I'm getting a VSS error on the DC. The first time I tried it I was not in DSRM, I had just shut down the services. I saw a VSS error saying to reboot into DSRM. I rebooted into DSRM and still received a VSS error, this time saying to reboot out of DSRM. I've converted 2003 and 2008 R2 DC's before by rebooting them into DSRM without issue. I'm wondering if maybe the Backup Exec Agent that's installed is causing an issue with VSS or the conversion process.
I'm seeing this error in converter. "Unable to create a VSS snapshot of the source volume. Error code 2147754753 (0x80042301.
One the server I'm trying to P2V I'm seeing this VSS Event ID 29 This machine is a Domain Controller in Directory Services Restore Mode (DSRM), Backup cannot be performed in this case, please reboot out of DSRM.
