We are just on be prepared to the conversion as described in initial messages.

Also newbies in converting physical to virtual and in VMWare products portfolio and using the VMWare them.

As for not few conversion process parameters - if to take the Converter Standalone -

there are pretty lot combinations amongst supported sources, destinations, on-the-fly or not, volume related parameter and so on.

There was and is not easy to get orientation in the whole landscape.

We use the Converter's user manual.

It is not easy from all those possible path find out that one which is supported in our situation.

In the meantime the idea was to do the conversion of image made by Acronis TI and convert it

to Fusion VM. But we have only the current Fusion version and this is not supported, according to user manual

and to Converter's GUI - in the destination selection step Fusion version up to 6 are offered. Not the 7.

Newly the conversion process (Fusion ver.6 selected as destination) completes with the error message

something like "configuration not possible" even if all files from deploy.cab were copied to the desired path.
