So you have a RHEL 5.8 source installed with GRUB2. GRUB2 can boot from LVM, i.e. its /boot directory can be in a logical volume which is not possible in GRUB1. GRUB2 is a feature that RHEL adds in version 7.
It seems that (from converter point of view) the source is partly RHEL7. I think you have the following options:
- wait for the new Converter with RHEL7 support. This is not going to happen in the next few days, so I suppose it is not really an option;
- disable LVM during conversion, which has the drawback of converting the root volume to basic. This is done in the 'data-to-copy' section in 'options' page. In 'destination layout' select the virtual disk and click on 'to basic'
