Hmm, I am not experienced reading installer logs but I see this in '--------------- CA exec: VMInstallVstorDriver" section:
vieInstUtil: 01/20/15 10:28:17 VMInstServiceEx::InstallEx::ServiceName: vstor2-mntapi20-shared
vieInstUtil: 01/20/15 10:28:17 VMInstServiceEx::StopExtended::ServiceName: vstor2-mntapi20-shared
vieInstUtil: 01/20/15 10:28:17 VMInstServiceEx::IsInstalled::ServiceName: vstor2-mntapi20-shared
vieInstUtil: 01/20/15 10:28:17 VMInstService::OpenSrvc::ServiceName: vstor2-mntapi20-shared Access: 0x00000084
vieInstUtil: 01/20/15 10:28:17 VMInstError::LogErrorLast::Res: 1060 (The specified service does not exist as an installed service. )
vieInstUtil: 01/20/15 10:28:17 VMInstService::OpenSrvc::ERROR_SERVICE_DOES_NOT_EXIST The specified service does not exist Error: 1060
Have you tried rebooting the machine and then installing?
Is there an old converter installed there? If so, I'd recommend you uninstall it and then reboot.
