I was just trying a reconfigure and it did indeed fail. The only thing I was trying to enable was 'remove system restore checkpoints' and 'reconfigure destination vm'. I can look at uploading the file pack but I think before I do that I might try the conversion option inside Fusion itself, see if that works any better.
