I've been starting only one at the time, and it fails after 4-7 minutes with the message I've put in the headline of this thread:
- FAILED: An error occured while opening a virtual disk. Verify that the Converter server and the running source machines have a network access to the source and destination ESX/ESXi hosts
I have attached the log from the sever that started running yesterday and then failed. The job starts at 08:55:54 PM and finishes at 0:52:33 PM.
The GUI error says:
- FAILED: An error occured during the conversion: 'BlockLevelVolumeCLoneMgr::CloneVolume: Detected a write error during the cloning of volume \\WndowsBitmapDriverVolumeID=[2A-B0-4B-E3-00-00-10-00-00-00-00-00].Error: 37409 (type: 1, code: 2338)
Meanwhile, I've been able to start a convert operation of a 4th server, which only has 6TB total disk space. This is now running without any problems.
I then also tried converting a 5th server which has 8 TB total disk space, but it failed. If I only select the C: drive and one or two volumes (total of max 4TB), it works.
This might be a coincidence, but if you combine these two servers that are now running together, it's right below 10TB total. That's the same limit I experienced in the beginning. When choosing volumes on the same server that exceeds total disk space of 10TB, the job would fail.
